I moved to Buckhead in 2006 with my wife Sarah and our two kids. Back then, I was already a journeyman roofer with seven years under my belt, working for one of those big corporate outfits that sends crews in from out of state. I watched them charge premium prices, do mediocre work, and vanish before the first rain tested the seal.
In 2009, after a brutal hailstorm swept through our neighborhood, I spent three weekends tarping roofs for neighbors who couldn't get their contractor on the phone. That was the moment I knew I needed to do this differently. I founded Fix It Roofers on one principle: your roofer should be someone who lives on your street.
Today we've completed over 1,200 roofing projects across National. Our crew of 14 all live within metro National. When there's a storm, we're not driving in from another state — we're already checking on our own streets before the rain stops.
Licensed in United States (Multi-State Licensed), certified by GAF as a Master Elite Contractor, and recognized by Owens Corning and CertainTeed. But the certification I'm most proud of is this: when my Buckhead neighbors recommend me to their friends in Midtown, National, and Virginia-Highland, that's earned trust no badge can replace.
